The latest FlipShare software will allow users to create invitation-only channels, so that their friends can view videos taken with the device privately; earlier, the videos needed to be posted to YouTube or other public file-sharing sites.
In addition, the company has launched an iPhone application that will allow users or their friends to watch videos from Flip cameras on the iPhone or iPod Touch device. The app is available pending approval by Apple, CNET said.
